7 ATC hosts 4th-Grade Class in Star Wars-Themed Mock Trial

7th Army Training Command’s (7th ATC) legal team hosted a class of 4th-grade students from Grafenwoehr Elementary School to conduct a mock trial May 10, 2019 in Vilseck, Germany. Dr. Bill Hunter’s class put Luke Skywalker on trial for destroying the Death Star. The students learned about the American legal system as they were fully integrated into the mock trial; the defense, prosecution, jury of their peers and the judge were all students, while the three lawyers from 7th ATC helped move the hearing forward.
