U.S. Army Europe and Africa
Oct. 25, 2014 | 1:46
Soldiers of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, currently based in Latvia, as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve (OAR), put together a competition based on the Army Ranger physical training test. They invited their NATO partners from Norway and Latvia to participate. These activities are part of the US Army Europe-led Operation Atlantic Resolve land force assurance training taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to enhance multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries, contribute to regional stability and demonstrate US commitment to NATO.
