Member's of the Vatican's Swiss Guard Football Club play soccer against members of the Vicenza Military Community's Better Opprotunity for Single Soldiers team on Caserma Ederle, Italy on August 10, 2023. The match began eight years ago, with the two teams playing at the Vatican. This is the first time the match has been held on Caserma Ederle and, later in the year, the two teams will meet again at the Vatican. U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa Commanding General, Maj. Gen. Todd R. Wasmund joined the VMC BOSS team to play against the Swiss Guard team and enjoy the camaraderie.
