In the early 2000's, the U.S. Army began manufacturing Strykers for use across its ranks. The 2d Cavalry Regiment maintains ownership of the second oldest Stryker - which was built in 2001. This Stryker is on display at the Regimental Headquarters on Rose Barracks, Germany as of Dec. 4, 2017.
