Ever since the Columbine High School massacre in 1999, law enforcement officers have been conducting active shooter training. The United States Army Garrison Ansbach Military Police, hosted an active-shooter training exercise on Shipton Kaserne, Ansbach Germany. The purpose of the exercise was to provide realistic training to Soldiers, first responders and the emergency management teams in the event of an active-shooter. September 17, 2015.
