2CR Escorts Gen. Pershing to Europe
2d Cavalry Regiment
Dec. 28, 2017 | 0:32
100 years ago, the 2nd Cavalry Regiment Dragoons were the first U.S. Army Soldiers on ground in Europe at the start of World War 1. Over the next year we will highlight 2CR's participation in WW1 to commemorate 100 years. Keep an eye out for videos each month as we showcase artifacts from the war that have been preserved at the 2CR Reed Museum and explore the Regiment's participation in three campaigns - Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne.
