U.S. Army service members assigned to the New York National guard and Army Reserves Medical Command, partner with Medical professionals from the South African Defense Force to treat patients in communities within the province of KwaZulu Natal (KZN) during a Medical Readiness Exercise (MEDREX) 2022-South Africa. MEDREX is a medical training exercise, planned and executed by the United States Army Southern European Task Force, Africa, that allows the U.S. military to demonstrate their commitment to global partners as well as exchange best medical practices with their African counterparts.
