M88A2 Hercules recovery vehicle is hoisted and loaded onto a train
21st Theater Sustainment Command
April 1, 2022 | 0:30
A crane and local national contractors hoist and secure a M88A2 Hercules recovery vehicle onto a rail car for onward rail movement at Vlissingen, Netherlands, April 3, 2022. Members from 3rd ABCT/4ID, 598th Transportation Brigade and local national contractors work in conjunction to safely load and transport equipment on the trains and commercial line hauls to support Operation Atlantic Resolve. Port operations in Vlissingen, Netherlands was one of three operations performed in countries throughout Europe demonstrating the Army’s ability to use multiple countries to simultaneously and quickly move heavy armored vehicles from the United States to the European Theater.
