June 11, 2025 | 1:28
A U.S. Marine with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, fires a 50. caliber machine gun while on a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter assigned to VMM 265 (Rein.) during flight operations, in the Coral Sea, June 12, 2025. Marines demonstrate the lethal capabilities of the 31st MEU by conducting routine areal patrols. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the USS America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations, the U.S. Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
