JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. — U.S. Army Sgt. Samantha Root, with the 801st Quartermaster Company, conducts a class on inspecting and maintaining the 400-gallon M149A2 Water Trailer—commonly known as the “water buffalo”—during Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise (QLLEX) 25 at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, June 2025. The training ensures the integrity of potable water in the field, reinforcing safety and readiness for troops relying on clean drinking water.
