U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Communications Squadron (MWCS) 18 establish communication capabilities as a part of the Aviation Training Relocation Program (ATR) at Japan Air Self-Defense Force Nyutabaru Air Base, Japan, Nov. 5, 2022. The ATR program allows U.S. Marines in the Indo-Pacific, such as from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 312 and MWCS-18, to regularly exercise expeditionary capabilities and increase operational readiness and interoperability with Japan Self-Defense Forces.
