28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade

U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Kristen Bixler has not seen her husband, Sgt. Michael Bixler, since he deployed to Afghanistan in October 2019. Kristen is now deploying, herself, with the 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade. The Bixlers are hoping their paths will cross during Michael's demobilization process at Fort Hood, where Kristen and the 28th ECAB are currently training for their deployment. Though there are numerous COVID-19-related restrictions in place, they are hoping to spend a little time together before having to say goodbye again.
