Brooke Army Medical Center’s third episode of “Straight Talk with Dr. Straight” has our Chief Medical Officer, Col. (Dr.) Timothy Straight, taking questions from beneficiaries in a “Man on the Street” format. Dr. Straight discusses the difference between allergies and colds; blood clots that can become DVT or deep vein thrombosis, or pulmonary embolism. Dr. Straight is joined by Deputy Commander for Inpatient services Col. Michael Ludwig, to discuss what the BAMC team does to help reduce the risk of blood clots.
