Coast Guard Sector Boston and its port partners conducted a maritime law enforcement drill Wednesday, May 23, 2018, in Boston Harbor aboard the Spirit of Boston cruise ship. The drill was conducted to ensure the public's safety and security, and focused on notification procedures, communications, response, and coordination between federal and state law enforcement agencies following a report of an active-shooter in the maritime environment.(U.S. Coast Guard video by Petty Officer 3rd Class Hayden Hunt)
