170922-N-YM856-0069 PUERTO BARRIOS, Guatemala (Sept. 22, 2017) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Kara Irons, assigned to Naval Health Clinic Quantico, instructs Guatemalan sailors on how to perform a two-man carry, apply a tourniquet and carry personnel out of danger during a Combat Life Saving course at Commando Naval del Caribe, a Guatemalan naval base, in support of Southern Partnership Station 17. SPS 17 is a U.S. Navy deployment executed by U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet, focused on subject matter expert exchanges with partner nation militaries and security forces in Central and South America.
