Interviews with Landing Craft Utility (LCU) crewmembers during the re-occuring five-year-long Innovative Readiness Training Program (IRT) - Mertarvik. The two Crews of the LCU 2032, United States Army Vessel (USAV) Palo Alto and LCU 2033 USAV Paulus Hook, load up equipment and cargo, and set sail for their return trip to Port Hueneme, Calif. Army Reserve Mariners provided unique logistical support for the relocation and infrastructure build up for the village of Newtok and Air-strip expansion in Old Harbor during this year's four-month phase of IRT.
