114th Fighter Wing
July 2, 2011 | 2:09
The South Dakota Army and Air National Guard have been working together in support of the Missouri River flooding since being activated for State Active Duty in May, 2011. The Army soldiers and Air Force airmen each have unique skills, and have been providing specific types of support in the flooded areas along the Missouri River. But in a few areas of support, soldiers and airmen are literally working side-by-side. 114th Fighter Wing and South Dakota Army Guard Medical Command are from Sioux Falls and Rapid City, S.D.
