BAUMHOLDER, Germany -- Baumholder Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers president, Luthersville, Georgia native, Sgt. Calandra Tenney 16th Special Troops Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade and her fellow Soldiers stay connected to the Baumholder community by participating in local events such as the annual German celebration, Fasching.
Fasching is Germany's carnival season. It starts on the 11th day of November at exactly 11 minutes after 11 a.m. and ends at the stroke of midnight on Shroud Tuesday - often referred to as Fat Tuesday (the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday). (U.S. Army video by Staff Sgt. Adrian Patoka)
