Army Commendation Medal with Valor Recipients Staff Sgt. Jason Redick and Capt. Daryl Murton of 3D Squadron, 2D Stryker Cavalry Regiment earned their medals for a patrol on 26 and 27 September, 2010. During a patrol to OP Gold in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan their convoy struck numerous IED's, they set up landing zones for Soldiers that required MEDEVAC, and secured the area to keep their Squads safe.
