Get Into Nature hikes are back in the Grafenwoehr Training area
7th Army Training Command
July 24, 2021 | 2:02
On Jul 24, 2021, Soldiers and families were offered a special opportunity to hike within the Grafenwoehr Training Area (GTA) led by USAG Bavaria Environmental Division, 7ATC Range Operations, Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM), the Bundesforst, and local historian Gerald Morgenstern. Participants were guided through incredible ecosystems, historical sites, and the land on which our soldiers train.
They also learned about the partnership and coordination it takes to protect and sustain the environment throughout the training area. The community is encouraged to participate in future hikes throughout the GTA.
