Noble Partner Opening Ceremonies
U.S. Army Europe and Africa
May 11, 2016 | 1:50
Exercise Noble Partner kicked off with a bang at the Vaziani Training Area outside the Georgian Capital of Tbilisi. Noble Partner is a Georgian and U.S. military training exercise with nearly 1300 soldiers from the United States, United Kingdom and Georgia. This exercise is a critical part of Georgia’s training for its contribution of a light infantry company to the NATO Response Force (NRF) and enhances Georgian territorial self-defense capability. Produced by Anthony Sweeney, U.S. Army Europe Public Affairs. Includes soundbites from Giorgi Margvelashvili, president of Georgia, Maj. Gen. Vakhtang Kapanadze, chief of general staff of Georgian armed forces, and Tinatin Khidasheli, minister of defense of Georgia.
