Physical Fitness Assessment

173rd Airborne Brigade

The 173rd Airborne Brigade began Expert Infantryman Badge and Expert Soldier Badge Testing this week. It started with a Physical Fitness Assessment that candidates had to pass. In order to pass, the candidates of both badges had to reach certain scores to meet the criteria to move on to the next phase of testing.

The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army's Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United States Europe, Africa and Central Command areas of responsibility. Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance.
