In conjunction with supporting the BN's mission; Headquarters Detachment, 509th goes after improving Soldier, Leader and team performance by creating realistic training and leveraging ongoing operations" This allows us the opportunity to develop resilient Soldiers, adaptive leaders, and cohesive teams committed to the Army profession. We want physically fit and resilient leaders capable of accomplishing the mission, so we must ensure that training is focused on allowing Soldiers down to the lowest levels to accept prudent risk, lead teams, and work outside their comfort zones.(Video by U.S. Army Visual Information Specialist Massimo Bovo)
