U.S. Army Europe and Africa, along with our NATO and Partner Allies, annually host a Tank Challenge. This training event is designed to give participating nations a dynamic and productive environment in which to foster military partnerships, form Soldier-level relationships, and share tactics, techniques and procedures.
 
The European International Tank Challenge was formerly known as the Strong Europe Tank Challenge. Images, video and stories that are older will appear under that name further down the timeline.

West Virginia Army National Guard engineers build momentum at Resolute Castle

Soldiers with the 1092nd Engineer Battalion 601st Engineer Support Company and 115th Vertical Construction Company rolled through their first week of Annual Training at the Joint National Training Center in Cincu, Romania, June 13, 2019, as the fourth rotation of Resolute Castle 19.

Exercise Resolute Castle 19 is a U.S. Army Europe – led, multinational, joint
exercise occurring from April – September which marries U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard, as well as allied and partner nation engineering unit training opportunities with the completion of tangible construction projects that enhance training capabilities in various areas of NATO’s eastern memberstates.
