US Army Europe Best Warrior Logo

U.S. Army Europe and Africa, along with our NATO and Partner Allies, annually host a Tank Challenge. This training event is designed to give participating nations a dynamic and productive environment in which to foster military partnerships, form Soldier-level relationships, and share tactics, techniques and procedures.

The European International Tank Challenge was formerly known as the Strong Europe Tank Challenge. Images, video and stories that are older will appear under that name further down the timeline.

Voices of Strength: Better person, better Soldier
200th Military Police Command
May 21, 2019 | 4:27
Spc. Kaleb Engberg, a U.S. Army Reserve Soldier with the 79th Military Police Company, discusses the loss of a friend and a fellow Soldier, and how these events led to his own hospitalization for suicidal ideation. This story is part of a series of videos for "Voices of Strength," a campaign produced by the 200th MP Command's Suicide Prevention and Public Affairs Staff Offices. The video series offers a revamped look at suicide prevention, using real, unscripted stories of U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers involved with suicide, either through personal thoughts or attempts, the loss of a loved one, loss of a Soldier, or through the perspective of the investigative officers. The goal of these videos is to offer new content for suicide prevention training and discussion during unit training activities to reduce suicide rates across the force. These U.S. Army Reserve videos are produced by David Dummer and directed by Master Sgt. Michel Sauret, and edited by both in a collaborative effort. All interviews were filmed at the Defense Media Activity studios. For more credits, please see video credits at the end of each film.

"Voices of Strength" was nominated for two Emmys in the Capital Region on May 12, 2020 in categories 30A: Public/Current/Community Affairs - Feature/Segment/Series and 30B: Public/Current/Community Affairs - Program/Special.
