US Army Europe Best Warrior Logo

U.S. Army Europe and Africa, along with our NATO and Partner Allies, annually host a Tank Challenge. This training event is designed to give participating nations a dynamic and productive environment in which to foster military partnerships, form Soldier-level relationships, and share tactics, techniques and procedures.

The European International Tank Challenge was formerly known as the Strong Europe Tank Challenge. Images, video and stories that are older will appear under that name further down the timeline.

OSAA Change of Command/Responsibility, Part 2
National Guard Bureau
Sept. 30, 2015 | 16:56
On 04 October 2015, OSAA will transition to become an Activity and align the entire organization under the Military District of Washington (MDW) reporting directly to the Commander of the Army Air Operations Group (AAOG). Under the Operational Support Airlift restructure, 48 state/territories will convert from TDA to MTOE detachments leaving 5 states to remain as TDA state flight detachments. ARNG will close three of four Regional Flight Centers to include Ft. Hood, TX; Elmendorf AFB, AK; and Joint Base Lewis-McCord, WA assigned to OSACOM. The ARNG will align the Ft. Belvoir Regional Flight Center under MDW/AAOG and transfer four UC-35s and one C-12 aircraft to establish a non-executive OSA flight detachment at Ft. Belvoir. The Operational Support Airlift Activity will begin its restructure under an O5 command as OSACOM is dissolved and absorbed under AAOG and the active duty fixed wing programs. Shot and Edited by: SSG Adam Fischman, National Guard Bureau Public Affairs. Includes soundbites from Col. James W. Ring, outgoing commander, Maj. Gen. Timothy McKeithen, and Lt. Col. David R. Doran, incoming commander.
