US Army Europe Best Warrior Logo

U.S. Army Europe and Africa, along with our NATO and Partner Allies, annually host a Tank Challenge. This training event is designed to give participating nations a dynamic and productive environment in which to foster military partnerships, form Soldier-level relationships, and share tactics, techniques and procedures.
 
The European International Tank Challenge was formerly known as the Strong Europe Tank Challenge. Images, video and stories that are older will appear under that name further down the timeline.

Musicians 2nd Class Sandy Herrera, Musician Seaman Mary Fortino, and Musician 2nd Class Jon Haynes, all from U.S. Fleet Forces Band, perform Amy Beach’s Waltz, Op. 36 No. 3, arranged for clarinet trio by John Gibson, onboard Naval Station Norfolk. he band, the musical representative for U.S. Fleet Force Command, provides support for ships, military bases, foreign dignitaries, and community events through the Mid-Atlantic and Ohio River Valley areas of the United States, and regularly deploys to Central and South America.
