After ten days of intense training all over Poland, Anakonda 16 has come to an end.

The Polish-led multinational exercise involving 31,000 troops from 24 NATO allies and partners has finished on a large-scale demonstration for distinguished visitors, guests and the media.

Troops from Albania, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, the United States, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM*)and Sweden put on a 50-minute display of military force and capability, from artillery fire, tactical manoeuvres and an impressive show of airpower and action.

It rounded off an exercise that included training on the land, at sea and in the air. An opportunity for Poland to prove that it not only can defend itself, but that it can also work with its NATO allies and partners, testing their ability, readiness and interoperability.

Footage includes US and Polish tank manoeuvres, live firing on the training area, artillery strikes and assault. US and Polish helicopters carrying out an attack and an assault and breach. Headcam footage from a US army tank during the live firing and drone footage from the demonstration showing the exercise area with a convoy of armoured vehicles.
