US Army Europe Best Warrior Logo

U.S. Army Europe and Africa, along with our NATO and Partner Allies, annually host a Tank Challenge. This training event is designed to give participating nations a dynamic and productive environment in which to foster military partnerships, form Soldier-level relationships, and share tactics, techniques and procedures.
 
The European International Tank Challenge was formerly known as the Strong Europe Tank Challenge. Images, video and stories that are older will appear under that name further down the timeline.

Dr. Florian Herrmann visits U.S. and Multinational Soldiers during Exercise Combined Resolve at JMRC

Dr. Florian Herrmann, Head of the State Chancellery and Minister of State for Federal Affairs and Media for Bavaria, visited Brig. Gen. Steven P. Carpenter, Commanding General of the 7th Army Training Command (7ATC), and U.S. and multinational Soldiers participating in exercise Combined Resolve at 7ATC’s Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in the Hohenfels Training Area, Germany, June 3, 2024. Afterwards, Herrmann and Carpenter served Nuremberg grilled sausages to the Soldiers in the field. JMRC, the Army’s only forward stationed maneuver Combat Training Center, trains U.S., Allies and Partner nation brigade combat teams for large scale combat operations in a multi-domain environment.
