USAREUR-AF International Tank Challenge

U.S. Army Europe and Africa, along with our NATO and Partner Allies, annually host a Tank Challenge. This training event is designed to give participating nations a dynamic and productive environment in which to foster military partnerships, form Soldier-level relationships, and share tactics, techniques and procedures.

The European International Tank Challenge was formerly known as the Strong Europe Tank Challenge. Images, video and stories that are older will appear under that name further down the timeline.

U.S. Airmen and Soldiers from the Georgia National Guard provide free COVID-19 testing for citizens of Georgia at a mobile test site in Albany, Georgia, May 19, 2020. The Georgia National Guard worked in conjunction with Augusta University Health to provide the tests in order to increase the testing capacity throughout the state. The first individual speaking is U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Meryl Henry, the 116th Air Control Wing (ACW), 116th Medical Group (MDG) medical support team lead, Georgia Air National Guard, gives a leadership perspective of the operation. The second person speaking, U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Michael Manning, 116th ACW, 116th MDG medic, gives a hands on perspective of the operation.
