U.S. Army Europe and Africa, along with our NATO and Partner Allies, annually host a Tank Challenge. This training event is designed to give participating nations a dynamic and productive environment in which to foster military partnerships, form Soldier-level relationships, and share tactics, techniques and procedures.
 
The European International Tank Challenge was formerly known as the Strong Europe Tank Challenge. Images, video and stories that are older will appear under that name further down the timeline.

A U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 263, (Reinforced) conduct flight line operations while aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), Iwo Jima Amphibious Readiness Group (ARG), in support of Amphibious Squadron 8 (PHIBRON 8), 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Integration (PMINT) while underway in the Atlantic Ocean April 5, 2025. PMINT is the 22nd MEU’s first opportunity in their pre-deployment training program to fully integrate with PHIBRON 8 while at sea, allowing Marines and Sailors to train together as an ARG/MEU team.
