1st Armored Division Conducts Battle Drill Three and Seven (Reel)
5th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment
Feb. 26, 2025 | 0:24
U.S. Soldiers with 4th Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, conduct battle drill three and seven during a live fire exercise at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria, Feb. 25-26, 2025. 1st Armored Division, a rotational force supporting V Corps, conducted training in the European Theatre to maintain readiness and instill fundamental Soldier skills that are vital in maintaining lethality. Battle drill seven is focused on entering and clearing trenches and bunkers, while battle drill three focuses on breaking contact with the enemy. Rehearsing battle drills allows units to execute specific movements on the battlefield quickly and quietly with no need for prior planning. (U.S. Army video by Spc. Kyle Kimble)
