The III Corps Commanding General and Command Sergeant Major would like to welcome the Mayor of Farmersville, along with other VIP and special guests to Fort Hood. This invitation is to extend the installations appreciation and gratitude for inviting the members of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club on 8 May 2021. The Sister City event was a significant historical milestone, as Texas was the birthplace of one of the greatest American heroes, Sergeant Audie Leon Murphy. Farmersville is his hometown area and Fort Hood is where the SAMC was started.
