145th Airlift Wing Change of Authority Ceremony

It was a special day today for the 145th Airlift Wing as we held the official Change of Authority Ceremony between Command Chief Master Sgt. Susan Dietz and now Command Chief Master Sgt. William Harper. Chief Dietz enlisted in June of 1980 and joined the NCANG in 1988 before assuming authority in August of 2017, she has more than earned her retirement.

Meanwhile we welcome Chief Harper to his new role as the 145th Airlift Wing Command Chief Master Sergeant. Chief Harper enlisted in the Air Force in 1984 as an Airlift Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. Over the past 35 years he has held many positions and joined the NCANG in 1988. Since 2017 Chief Harper has served as the 145th Operations Group Superintendent. Now he is the Wing Command Chief and will surely do great things in the role.
