2020 Region II Best Warrior Competition Highlights

The Maryland Army National Guard concludes the 2020 Region II Best Warrior Competition by announcing Maryland’s own Spc. Josiah Taft, a healthcare specialist with the 104th Medical Company Area Support, and Sgt. Brian Murphy, a radio operator-maintainer with C Co., 248th Aviation Support Battalion, as the best Soldier and Noncommissioned Officer in Region II. Region II consists of Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, the District of Columbia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The ceremony was held at Weide Army Air Field, Edgewood Arsenal of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, on July 31, 2020. (U.S. Army National Guard video by Sgt. Chazz Kibler)
