Estonian and U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 10th Army Air & Missile Defense Command, pose with the U.S. Army’s new Maneuver Short Range Air Defense Stryker under both the Estonian and U.S. flags after a successful live fire training event on the Gulf of Finland during Exercise Saber Strike 22 on March 10, 2022. The exercise runs through March with approximately 13,000 participants from 13 countries and has been held every 2 years since 2010. The training event is scheduled during winter to demonstrate the ability to operate in austere conditions. U.S. and British Soldiers strengthen relationships during Swift Response
Swift Response 21 brings both countries together in order to enhance interoperability and improve tactics for potential real-world dangers. Last month, British soldiers teamed with the 1-319th Abn. Field Artillery Regt. Soldiers for two weeks at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, strengthening their partnership between the two countries and their soldiers.

Preparation For The Night Air Assault

Soldiers from Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 77th Field Artillery Regiment, 41st Field Artillery Brigade, along with soldiers from the United Kingdom’s 3rd Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery who are supporting NATO Enhanced Forward Presence Battlegroup-Estonia, conducted a Multiple Launch Rocket System live fire exercise at Tapa Central Training Area, Estonia, May 5, 2021. The LFX was the kick-off event for U.S. Army Europe and Africa’s Fires Shock exercise, a series of fires exercises which demonstrates the ability to rapidly deploy long-range precision fires and joint forcible entry fires across Europe and Africa.
