The Pentagon Quilts memorial features a series of 40 commemorative quilts, previously donated by children, civilians, churches, companies, and artists. The display honors all the victims, survivors, first responders, and families. Among the Pentagon Quilts display is "The Stars of Liberty Quilt," previously donated by the Black Forest Quilt Guild, a group Murtha and more than 70 German and Americans participated in while overseas.
