Land forces commanders from across Europe to discuss modernization
Senior land force commanders, officers and representatives from approximately 40 European allied and partner nations, the U.S. and Canada met both in person and virtually for the Conference of European Armies at U.S. Army Europe and Africa Headquarters. The three-day conference was hosted by the U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. James C. McConville and supported by the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Commanding General Gen. Christopher Cavoli June 15-17. CEA is the premier U.S. Army Europe and Africa-hosted general officer-level security cooperation events. CEA provides a venue for establishing close relationships between land force commanders in Europe and facilitates collaboration on shared military initiatives.
