Taking the Train: Soldiers engage in week-long transport operation to Hohenfels

A Soldier with the 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division waits in his heavy armored vehicle for a ground guide to assist him in offloading the equipment from a train at Parsburg train station. Soldiers spent the week transporting vehicles from Grafenwoehr to Parsburg by train, with a road convoy completing the journey to Hohenfels Training Area for Combined Resolve XIV. Combined Resolve XIV is a Headquarters Department of the Army directed Multinational exercise designed to build 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division's readiness and enhance interoperability with allied forces to fight and win against any adversary.
