Kosovo Force Regional-Command East Military Working Dog Handlers U.S. Army Sgt. Davonte Bass and Cpl. Corey Vanderhoef soothe Military Working Dogs Yoda and Ddunn, from the 100th Military Police Working Dog Detachment out of Germany, during flight familiarization training June 19, 2020 at Camp Bondsteel. KFOR Dog Handlers often put their canine partners under various stressful training scenarios to increase their skills and efficiency as military working dogs. K9 elements in Kosovo assist with route clearance, unexploded ordnance detection, personnel and vehicle search operations in support of KFORs mission to maintain the safety and security of all people in Kosovo.
