U.S. Army Maj. Michael Hefti, executive officer, 2d Cavalry Regiment, is inducted into the Order of the Dragoon and receives the Meritorious Service Medal following the conclusion of a Memorial Day ceremony in Vilseck, Germany, May 20, 2020. The Order of the Dragoon dates back to 1836, the year in which the regiment was founded, and is comprised of those who have made significant contributions during their time with the regiment.
