USAG Italy Commemorates Italy’s Liberation Day Memorial Observance

U.S. Army and Italian Army senior officers pay respects during the Italy Liberation Day ceremony at Caserma Ederle, in Vicenza, Italy. The ceremony honored those, Italian and American, who made the ultimate sacrifice during the liberation of Italy, 75 years ago. While Liberation Day observations are typically large public events, today’s celebration was held virtually on social media due to nationwide COVID-19 safety precautions.
