U.S. Army Sgt. Deanne Wirkus meets Vitina interim director of public health Basri Aliu, March 20, 2020, in Vitina, Kosovo. Wirkus, along with other Kosovo Force Regional-Command East liaison monitoring team personnel, met with Basri and other local officials for the first time in person. Wirkus is a member of the new LMT troops who entered Kosovo this month. KFOR RC-E LMT personnel collaborated with local officials to monitor security, socio-economic and political situations within KFOR RC-E communities in order to provide a safe and secure environment to all the people of Kosovo.
