DEFENDER-Europe 20 equipment arrives at Bremerhaven, Germany

U.S. Army Spc. Anthony Valdez, an M-1 Armor Crewman, assigned to the 6th Squadron, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, drives an M-1 A2 Abrams tank off of the ARC Endurance and onto the port of Bremerhaven, Germany, on Feb. 20th, officially operating the first piece of U.S. shipped equipment that will be used in Defender Europe 20. The ARC Endurance is the first vessel to bring military equipment to Europe in support of the Defender Europe 20 exercise, which is the largest deployment of U.S.-based forces to Europe for an exercise in more than 25 years.
