U.S. Army M1 Abrams armored track vehicles, sit in a ready line for overseas loading procedures onto the American Roll-On Roll-Off (Green Bay) vessel, enroute to DEFENDER-Europe 20, in Savannah, Ga., on Feb. 12, 2020. Once in Europe, Soldiers and their equipment will then spread out across the region to participate in various annual exercises to build readiness and interoperability with our Allies and partners. These U.S. and European exercises are regularly conducted and "linked" through a shared exercise scenario, coordinated mission command, mutual sustainment and common communication environment.
