Combat Vehicle Tactical Engagement Simulation System

A contractor installs a combat vehicle tactical engagement simulation system (CVTESS) on a Bradley Fighting Vehicle assigned to 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division at the 7th Army Training Command’s Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Jan. 9, 2020. The CVTESS is a laser and radio frequency based system utilized in live simulation training to simulate the effects of realistic battlefield conditions for armored vehicles, light-skinned vehicles, bunkers, and fixed targets.
