Maj. Robert St. Claire, the convoy commander assigned to the Mission Command Element, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas, ground guides his vehicle out of Poznan, Poland, prior to embarking on a two-day convoy to Bemowo Piskie Training Area, Poland, May 26, 2018. The purpose of the convoy is to effectively move forward from Poznan and establish a Tactical Command Post (TAC) near BPTA and maintain a presence closer in support of Soldiers participating in Saber Strike. Saber Strike is a multinational exercise scheduled to run from June 3-15 that tests the 18,000 participants from 19 countries on their ability to work together and improve each unit's ability to perform their designated missions.
