Kunsan AB, Hill AFB F-35A Lightning ll Arrival

U.S. Air Force F-35A Lighting ll's arrive at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea in support of VIGILANT ACE 2018. The F-35's are currently deployed in support of a Theater Security Package at Kadena Air Base, Japan. This marks the first time the F-16 and 5th generation aircraft participated in the annually scheduled exercise.

Soldiers live fire FPV drones in Germany

Soldiers conducted a live fire of first-person view drones for the first time at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Feb. 17-20, 2025. Although drones have been incorporated into training for years, this event combined FPV drones with live munitions in a series of live fire flights, all within range safety standards. The success is a result of collaboration between U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, 7th Army Training Command, Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine and the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
