55th Quartermaster Feed at Camp Bondsteel

41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team

In the wake of the COVID Pandemic 55th Quartermaster Company, 16th Special Troops Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade from Kaiserslautern, Germany, came to Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, on short notice to take on the challenge of providing food service support for the camp.

As force protection measure Regional Command East, along with Area Support Group Balkans, decided to limit the number of local contractors coming on the instillation daily, thus creating a need for Army cooks to provide meals to the camp inhabitants temporarily.

Regional Command East would like to thank the 55th Quartermaster Company for their support feeding the force at Camp Bondsteel.

Soldiers live fire FPV drones in Germany

Soldiers conducted a live fire of first-person view drones for the first time at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Feb. 17-20, 2025. Although drones have been incorporated into training for years, this event combined FPV drones with live munitions in a series of live fire flights, all within range safety standards. The success is a result of collaboration between U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, 7th Army Training Command, Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine and the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
