NAVAL SUPPORT FACILITY DEVESELU, Romania (June 4, 2019) – U.S. Navy and civilian personnel assigned to Naval Support Facility Deveselu attended the graduation ceremony at a middle school in Deveselu, Romania, June 14, 2019. Students performed traditional dances and showcased their cultural heritage. Sailors from the school often participate in mentoring sessions related to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) topics as part of an ongoing community relations program to maintain relationships within the local area. Soldiers live fire FPV drones in Germany

Soldiers conducted a live fire of first-person view drones for the first time at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Feb. 17-20, 2025. Although drones have been incorporated into training for years, this event combined FPV drones with live munitions in a series of live fire flights, all within range safety standards. The success is a result of collaboration between U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, 7th Army Training Command, Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine and the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
